Old Paths Farm is a working family farm that has seen four generations of family that loves the land and the God who entrusts it to us. When we decided to open up the farm for event rentals, high on our list of motivations was the desire to share what we have with others. When you reserve a weekend, day, or portion of a day here, our aim is to treat you like family, and make you feel that you’ve stepped into a little pocket of paradise for the day. The Main Barn
Our main barn was converted from an actual working barn into a beautiful meeting space for guests celebrating every occasion. Total space is nearly 2,500 square feet, and includes the main meeting room, which is roughly 1,500 square feet. Also in the barn is a full kitchen, one and a half baths, bridal room, and table and chairs storage.
At various times of year, the main room will be decorated for the season, and guests can enjoy the ambiance of the holidays. Coming soon is a major renovation of the loft, which will house new quarters for grooms and groomsmen, as well as additional space for other events, bands, etc. All-incandescent, adjustable lighting offers the right mood for every occasion. In winter months, a large gas fireplace and additional space heaters keep everyone toasty.
The Pavilion
Summer 2019 we added our outdoor pavilion, expanding your options for rental. The pavilion is 3,000 square feet, and is located just adjacent to the main barn. There is space for 300 chairs, or tables and chairs for up to 200-250. The patio lighting offers a romantic, cozy setting after dark, and the open sides offer plenty of fresh air.
If the weather is cooler (or to block late afternoon sun), we can lower the side curtains on the west side, offering three closed-in sides that, with our provided patio heaters, will keep everyone nice and toasty.
Bridal Suite
Brides and their attendants love our cozy, comfortable bridal room with attached full bathroom. At over 250 square feet, the room features five vanity stations, ample mirrors (including a full-length bridal mirror), salon chair, and elegant seating. The door has an electronic keyless entry so brides and their friends can keep all their valuables secure while on property.
Outdoor Rooms and Wide Open Spaces
Don’t let the sound of “100 acres” overwhelm you. We offer plenty of open areas to explore, but have also created some beautiful, intimate spots around the venue that feel like rooms with the sky for their ceilings. Most couples say their “I Do’s” in the area between the big red barn doors and our custom-built lattice pergola, with patio lighting giving the entire space a magical feel. But don’t miss the small courtyard area between the barn and pavilion, the mottled shade under the big oak trees along the drive, or the refreshing banks of our two and a half acre pond (and yes, guys and gals, it’s full stocked and available for fishing with certain rental packages!). Spend time petting the horses in the corrals or simply wandering through acres of open pastureland, drinking in the purity of our fresh country air.
